02  联合表情包 | Collaboration Sticker

由于这是与SF合作的第一个项目，我们设计了短动画，并将它们制作成线上表情包。为了确保三个角色看起来是和谐的，我们专注通过角色之间的互动来传递信息，而不是简单地介绍角色。，我们设计了16种表情，并尝试通过日常生活中经常会用到的表达来展示每个角色的个性。

Since this was the first collaboration project with SF, we organized short episodes and made them into online stickers. We wanted to make sure that those three IPs look harmonized. So rather than simply introducing the characters, we focused on delivering the messages through interactions between characters. Thus, we designed 16 emotions for the online sticker and tried to reveal the personality of each character through the expression that is often used in everyday life.

첫 번째 콜라보레이션 프로젝트로 우리는 짧은 에피소드들을 구성해 이를 스티커로 제작하였다. 우리는 각 IP의 캐릭터들이 분리되어 보이는 것은 피하고 싶었다. 그래서 단순히 각 캐릭터를 소개하기 보다는 캐릭터 간의 상호작용을 통한 메시지 전달에 중점을 두었다. 그렇게 우리는 16가지의 동작들로 스티커를 구성하여, 일상적으로 많이 쓰이는 표현에 각 캐릭터의 성격이 드러날 수 있도록 만들었다.

必须在一个小框架中同时展现三个角色，并且三个角色的身高不一样会有很多的限制。为了解决这个问题，我们将表情包分成三种类型，并为每个表情包选择合适的方式。

类型A以superfiction中可以用长长的四肢表达各种各样情绪的Freddie为中心，QQ和PUPU则在背后辅助。在需要大动作的场景中，我们就使用这种结构。

类型B则通过某个角色的面部表情。由于需要专注角色的脸，这种类型通常我们只使用一种角色，有时候还用特写来放大情感。

类型C则通过角色之间的互动。比起用动作或面部表情，这种方式更多以角色的交相运动来表达仅仅用一个角色无法表达的情感。

There were many restrictions in that we had to express three characters in a small frame and that each character's height was different. To solve this problem, we divided the stickers into three expression types and selected the appropriate method for the each stickers.

Type A is a way to express the main emotions by using Freddie in the center which can expresses various emotions by using his long limbs. For this type, QQ and PUPU can also assist behind Freddie. For the scenes which big movements are needed, we used this type of structure. 

Type B is a way of showing emotions with the facial expression of one main character. In this way, since we need to focus on the face of the character, we usually use just one single character for this type and sometimes use closed-up scenes to maximize the emotions. 

C type is a way to express emotions through interaction between characters. In this way, rather than expressing emotions with the face or movement of the character, the characters can exchange movements to show the emotions which can not be expressed by only using a single character.

작은 프레임 속에 세 캐릭터를 넣어 표현해야 한다는 점과 각 캐릭터의 크기가 모두 다르다는 점에서 제약 사항이 많이 있었다. 우리는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 3가지 유형으로 스티커를 나누고 장면에 따라 해당 스티커에 적절한 유형의 표현방식을 선택했다.

A 유형은 팔다리가 길어 여러 표현에 자유로운 슈퍼픽션의 프레디를 이용해 주된 감정을 표현을 하고 큐큐와 푸푸를 이용해 프레디의 감정을 보조해 주는 방식이다. 큰 동작이 필요로 되는 장면에는 이와 같은 방식으로 감정을 표현했다.

B 유형은 캐릭터의 표정으로 감정을 보여주는 방식이다. 이러한 방식에선 캐릭터의 얼굴 위주로 장면을 구성해야 되기 때문에 캐릭터가 단독으로 등장하고 상황에 따라서는 캐릭터의 얼굴을 클로즈업하여 감정을 더욱 극대화해주었다.

C 유형은 캐릭터 간의 상호작용을 통해서 감정을 표현하는 방식이다. 이 방식에선 캐릭터의 표정이나 동작으로 감정을 표현하기보다는 캐릭터들이 동작을 주고받으면서 단독 캐릭터만으로는 표현할 수 없는 장면을 묘사했다.

以上就是16种表情如何被设计策划出来的过程。我们还用简单的草图制作了动画草稿去有效地确定这些想法和角色是否适合每一个表情。

So this is how 16 online stickers were planned and draft animation was produced with a simple sketch to effectively determine whether the ideas and characters were appropriate for each expression.

이렇게 16가지의 스티커가 계획되었고, 그 아이디어들과 캐릭터들이 상황에 적절한지 효과적으로 판단하기 위해 간단한 스케치로 드래프트 애니메이션을 제작했다.

3D Animation 3D动画

在绘制草图并将它做成3D的步骤中，我们设计了所有可能的动作、构图和整体视觉。由于所有细节都在上述步骤讨论过，3D动画工作得以更高效和更快速地进行。

We designed all possible movements, compositions and overall visuals when we were doing the sketch and made it in to 3D. Since all the details were already discussed in this step, 3D animation progress could be carried out more efficiently and fast.

스케치 단계에서 가능한 모든 동작과 구도, 전반적인 비주얼을 구상하고 이를 그대로 3D로 옮기는 방식으로 제작했다. 스케치 단계에서 완제품의 세세한 디테일까지 협의된 후 진행되었기 때문에 좀 더 효율적이고 빠른 속도로 3D 애니메이션 작업이 진행할 수 있었다.

通过这些线上表情包，我们希望不仅更多的人能喜爱QQ和PUPU，也能爱上Superfiction的角色。如果这个项目对你来说很有趣，你也可以期待我们未来的合作项目，未来我们的企鹅将会遇见来自世界各地的艺术家。

Using these online stickers, I hope that more people will be affectionate not only to QQ and PUPU but also to Superfiction's characters.
